Soho’s Service Department is a full service Apple Authorized repair center performing warranty and out-of-warranty repairs and upgrades, with all work done in-store or on-site by our team of Apple Certified Technicians.
Repair Status:If you’re like us then going without your computer for any lenght of time is extremely difficult. That’s why we contact you as soon as we’ve diagnosed your computer, as soon as it’s complete, and as much as necessary throughout to keep you informed. In addition to this you can also review your repair status online using the repair number located in the top corner of the your receipt (the “S-55555″). And of course you’re always welcome to call and email for status updates throughout your repair.

- Diagnostic : $45.00 flat rate
- Includes hardware diagnostics testing, peformance testing, and system evaluation.
- Labour : $95.00 / hour
- General labour rate.
- On-site Labour : $95.00 / hour + travel fees

- RAM Install : $4.99
- Installation of memory modules and testing.
- Hard Drive Install : $69.00
- Installation of hard disk, formatting and re-installation of previous operating system.
- Data Transfer : $72.00
- Includes either copying data from drive or backup in part or whole, or mirroring drive, and including Archive and Install as necessary.
- Training with Soho Technician : $95.00 / hour
- One-on-one training with Soho technician.
- Physical Cleaning : $109.00
- Physical cleaning of computer, internal and external. Open and blow-out dust, clean screen, case and components.
- Data Recovery Attempt : Min. $120.00
- In-store software data recovery attempt. Minimum $120.00 fee (first two hours) regardless of results. Additional time charged at 50% standard labour rate.
- Data Recovery (Lab) : Min. $50.00
- Drive sent to Data Recovery Lab for free estimate on recovery costs. Minimum $50 shipping and handling charge.
- Password Reset : $25.00
- Reset a user password from unknown to new. Reset Login Keychain file. Password reset not possible with File Vault.
- Apple Parts Shipping and Handling : $13.95
- Charged per part on out-of-warranty repairs.
- Service Build Mac (or Mac-to-Mac) : $86.00
- Preparation and setup of Macintosh and related peripherals for the client. OS Updates and software instalations included and normal data migration. Some data or extensive migration/software installs my require futher charges.
- Service Build PC-Mac (Basic) : Service Build Mac + $44
- Migration of 1 PC user to Mac with corresponding setup: Includes Outlook/Outlook Express to Mail (up to 10 mailboxes), email contacts to Address Book, internet favourites to Safari, My Documents folder to Documents folder, music to iTunes, pictures to iPhoto, and movies to Movies folder. Per User Account.
- Service Build PC-Mac (Advanced) : Service Build Mac + Service Build PC-Mac (Basic) + $29
- PC mail transfer up to 100 total mailboxes for up to 10 email accounts, from single user account.
