And because it’s impossible to know whether it might happen within the first 6 months, after 5 years, or well after the useful life of the computer has ended, it’s vital that you have a solid backup method for your information. Work documents, school projects, home finances, and family photos are just some of the irreplaceable items that can be lost if your hard drive fails.
